Celebrating A Year of Innovation: Agilence 2024 Year in Review and a Look Ahead to 2025

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on a year of new innovations and transformative growth at Agilence. From launching new products and services to expanding our capabilities through strategic acquisitions, 2024 has been extraordinary. Here’s a look back at our achievements and a glimpse into the exciting advancements awaiting you in 2025. 

Looking Back on the Past 12 Months 

Agilence Audit Management 

Launched at the end of 2023, Agilence Audit Management (formerly known as Store Audit) has modernized and enhanced store audits for a number of our retail and restaurant clients. With its intuitive interface, real-time updates, dynamic audit scoring, automatic task assignments and follow ups, flexible audit creation, and mobile accessibility, Audit Management streamlines compliance and operational processes, empowering businesses to achieve new levels of excellence. 

Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and Scale Production Modules 

Introduced alongside Agilence Audit Management, these modules are helping grocery retailers improve operations. The DSD Module enhances visibility into vendor activities, while the Scale Production Module combines data from electronic scales and POS systems to analyze production versus sales trends. These tools help supermarkets boost sales, minimize waste, and refine their inventory strategies. 

Acquisition of IntelliQ 

In May, we acquired UK-based loss prevention analytics provider IntelliQ. With this strategic decision, Agilence entered the global market and began serving customers in the UK and EMEA, as well as added a deep bench of loss prevention and analytics expertise with the great team at IntelliQ. This strategic move has strengthened Agilence’s position as an industry leader, enabling us to expand our reach and deliver cutting-edge solutions to a broader range of markets with customer support and account management, security and data operations, and product development in the UK and EMEA. 

Agilence Analytics Plus 

In June, we launched Agilence Analytics Plus, a comprehensive, outsourced loss prevention solution. By integrating our Analytics platform with experienced third-party consultants from leading service providers such as The Zellman Group and MavenLP, businesses without dedicated loss prevention teams can now access loss prevention expertise to safeguard their operations.  

The Progress Continues: December 2024 Launches 

As we close out the year, our momentum continues, and we are excited to introduce five new analytics modules that further enhance the Agilence platform: 

  • RFID Module: Leverages Radio Frequency Identification technology to optimize inventory management and loss prevention by tracking product movements and monitoring shrink trends. 
  • Physical Inventory Module: Simplifies inventory analysis by consolidating data from physical counts, improving accuracy, and tracking inventory flows. 
  • Expiring Inventory Module: Provides real-time insights into at-risk inventory, helping businesses reduce waste and maximize profitability. 
  • Cash Over/Short Module: Centralizes data on cash handling variances to detect discrepancies, ensuring transparency and preventing fraud. 
  • Alarm Module: Integrates third-party alarm data to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency by monitoring unauthorized access and emergency responses. 

These tools empower Agilence users to unlock deeper insights, tighten controls, and enhance decision-making, all while saving time and reducing complexity. 

AI Powering Next-Level Exception Based Reporting 

Consistent with our long history of innovation, we’ve added artificial intelligence (AI) to our products to help your teams be more efficient and productive. By allowing our AI to surface the highest probable fraud and shrink, you can focus your efforts on the issues with the highest value to your business. 

We’ve introduced Natural Language Query or NLQ to our Case and Audit Management products. Now, you can simply type requests just like in ChatGPT or a search engine and you’ll get back analysis of your cases and audits. Similarly, you can use natural language queries to actually build automations for your Audits. Automations create tasks, ensure follow up, and can improve collaboration so every detail is acted on and tracked to optimize operational  

In 2025, we’re taking the Agilence Analytics product to the next level. We understand that no two businesses are alike. Your processes, operations, and the insights of your LP analysts are unique to your organization. That’s why a one-size-fits-all approach won’t cut it. Our solution lets you take full advantage of the benefits of AI but customizes it to your specific needs. 

Customizable AI Fraud Detection 

Our new AI feature empowers you to train your own model, so it is unique, tuned, and specific to your business. Agilence Analytics AI will predict fraudulent transactions with unparalleled accuracy. Similarly, Agilence AI can score your alerts, so you work on the most pressing issues. By using your input, Agilence digs through your data to identify fraudulent activity, surfaces it for review, and seamlessly integrates these findings into our Case Management product, streamlining your workflow and saving valuable time. 

Conversational AI and Natural Language Processing 

We’re also introducing even more conversational AI to enhance your experience that can open up loss prevention insights to more people and speed up their time to impact. With this feature, you can: 

  • Ask questions and explore flagged fraud cases within Agilence Analytics using natural, human-like conversations. 
  • Analyze employee behaviors, transaction histories, and customer trends with ease. 
  • Create queries faster and simpler using natural language queries—delivering insights 10x faster than traditional methods.
