A Deer in Your Store (Video)
In PA, it's not flash mobs or active shooters you typically need to worry about. It's the deer. Seriously, deer. (Don't call me dear!)
On the local news last night, a local Kohl's had a deer inside the store. IN fact, the deer even visited the dressing room and closed the door. There are plenty of cheesy one-liners in the video so I will spare you my own.

I started looking for this video this morning when I came into the office and was stunned to see more videos of occurrences just like this and quite a few of them happen in my backyard!!!
This one was from Wayne, PA in a Sprint store. Based on what he did to the sink, I think he was unhappy with Sprint's coverage area.

Not to be out done the deer in other areas have also started shopping. This video is form a Publix near Tampa Bay.

If you watch these videos, it's only funny after the fact. The reality is that the deer are scared and can cause a tremendous amount of damage. Plus, there is a serious safety concern for the customers and employees. Deer are pretty in a field. They are very dangerous in your store.
So, it begs the question, do you have a policy in place on how to handle animals in the store? It seems to me that it's much more common to have a deer pop in to browse than it is to have an active shooter. Though, in these cases, an active shooter might be just what you need.
