A note from Russ Hawkins, CEO of Agilence Inc. - Since I joined Agilence 11 years ago, every single year has been memorable. We’ve made the transition from providing video auditing systems to exception-based reporting, and to developing a specialized data analytics platform. This year was no different. In 2018, we continued to expand the functionality of the 20/20 Data Analytics platform and have made significant strides to becoming a leader in Vertical Business Intelligence (VBI) for transactional businesses everywhere. Looking back, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for here at the close of 2018, and we’re looking forward to a bright future in 2019 and beyond.
Looking Back – 2018 Milestones
This year we welcomed 28 new customers to the Agilence community bringing our total location count to over 50,000, added 12 new professionals to the Agilence team so that we can continue delivering a world class customer success experience and delivered several significant improvements to the 20/20 analytics platform.
Our new customers include 10 major grocery chains, 15 national specialty retailers and 3 major restaurant chains with global operations.
Our new team members represent an accomplished, talented and diverse group that will enable us to continue to be the undisputed leader in customer satisfaction. In fact, we were recognized as such with a national Stevie Award for Customer Service and over 98% of our customers willing to help build the Agilence community through personal referrals and recommendations to their peers in the Industry.
On the product front, we built out the core functionality of the 20/20 platform and have added capabilities tailored to the industry-specific needs of our core verticals – retail, restaurant, grocery, convenience, and pharmacy. This vertical focus informs and drives our leadership in VBI as we move forward.
Looking Ahead – 2019 and Beyond
2018 was truly a transformative year for Agilence, our platform, and our clients. We have exceeded our own expectations and surpassed many SaaS industry growth benchmarks. We are now at a point in our evolution where we plan to focus 100 percent of our efforts on building our VBI solutions for our existing vertical markets while expanding into new verticals where our technologies can deliver great value.
