Agilence Names Pedro Ramos as Director of Retail Solutions

Camden, NJ - January 21, 2008 - Agilence, Inc., the leader in Intelligent Video Auditing Solutions (IVAS), today announced the appointment of Pedro Ramos as Director of Retail Solutions. Ramos formerly served as the assistant vice president for Loss Prevention at Pathmark Stores Inc., a northeastern United States supermarket chain recently acquired by A&P. Ramos will have responsibility for managing Agilence’s retail solutions focused on reducing cashier fraud and improving asset management for America’s retailers.

While at Pathmark, Ramos managed the Loss Prevention and reverse logistics programs for 141 retail stores. He led the effort to re-organize Pathmark’s loss prevention program by utilizing Agilence’s automated solutions to centralize exception reporting and video auditing functions. The re-engineering of Pathmark’s program resulted in dramatic increases in auditor productivity, significant decreases in shrink and cash shortages and more effective use of loss prevention and audit payroll dollars.
